Bad Mouth is a reading and performance series designed to showcase and support the literary, musical, and artistic communities of Albuquerque and New Mexico.

Bad Mouth seeks to provide a platform for collaboration between established and emerging writers/artists/musicians through curated monthly events. We want to build off of Burque’s existing artistic infrastructure while creating new opportunities, especially for poets and writers with diverse backgrounds and perspectives.

As writers, we believe artists should be compensated for their hard work and are currently working toward a paying model through the help of grants and donations. We thank those who are working with us to get Bad Mouth to that stage.
